2024 SJHS Tip-Off π Tournament Crowns New Champions
The 2024 Saint Joseph High School Tip-Off Basketball Tournament took place on December 6 and 7 at the Walter Dlubak Athletic Center. This year the Spartans welcomed teams from Burrell, Frazier, Springdale, West Allegheny, and Winchester Thurston.π At the girls' championship game, West Allegheny took home the title, defeating runner-up Saint Joseph 64-43.π At the boys' championship game, Springdale triumphed in overtime against the Burrell Bucs 53-51.Congratulations to this year's winners!

On December 7, 2024 three Saint Joseph High School seniors joined 37 other local top Volleyball players to participate in the We Serve First All-Star Classic. Veronica McCarthy, Elaina Moore, and Sofia Quattrocchi joined coach Ann McCarthy at the event supporting the We Serve First Foundation. The foundation provides scholarships to high school volleyball players to join club volleyball teams and camps. Read more about this year's event here.

Saint Joseph High School is celebrating its Girls Basketball team being ranked among the Preseason Top 5 schools in WPIAL Class A. Returning starter and senior guard, Gia Richter, has been named one of the Top 5 'Players to Watch' this season.In the new WPIAL Class A Section alignment, the Spartan Girls will face off against Aquinas Academy, Eden Christian, Leechburg, Sewickley Academy, Springdale, Union, and Western Beaver for the 2024-2025 season.Read more on TRIBLive HSSN.
