Boys Varsity Basketball, Head Coach

Biography:

EDUCATION: Coach DeHart is a 2014 graduate of Travelers Rest High School in Greenville, SC. He then went on to Bob Jones University to earn his degree in Elementary Education, graduating in 2019. 

 

BIO & EXPERIENCE:

Coach DeHart was a three-year high school varsity letterman in basketball and cross country, earning the Devildog Award for excellence as a student-athlete. He continued his basketball career at Bob Jones University, where he played for three seasons and helped lead the team to a national championship runner-up finish. At BJU, he also helped the team win three regional titles and led the pack in three-pointers.

 

Coach DeHart is a third-generation educator and basketball coach, continuing his family legacy in the world of sports and education. Both his grandfather and mother have gymnasiums named in their honor, which is a testament to their talent as coaches and mentors. His father is also a distinguished member of multiple coaching halls of fame. Carrying on the family tradition here in PA, Coach DeHart has dedicated himself to making a positive impact on students and athletes.

SPORT INFO:

Spartan Boys Basketball starts open gym practice sessions in the Fall with the official season kicking off in November. The team also regularly participates in a Summer league. Their home gym is at Saint Joseph High School, Walter Dlubak Athletic Center.
